Generally anime genre are for kids, we all have seen them in our childhood however if we watch them now apart from nostalgic we would feel they are kind of stupid or too kiddish. Rick and Morty is leagues ahead of those series, not saying it is the best of all but it certainly brings new to the table. It is mixed with sarcasm, sci fi story line, loaded with adult jokes & phrases, many racist jokes.
